Why is it so crucial to be in community with other Christians? We're wrapping up our series on healing from Spiritual Abuse and Church Hurt, and we have some rather challenging things to say.
Listen as we discuss the necessity of returning to fellowship with other believers. In this episode, while trying to keep it light, we're talking about the blessings of coming out of hiding, and the curses of remaining a "Lone Sheep" Christian.
We are so grateful you stuck with us through this series, and we want to reiterate how much we appreciate your need for space. But we also want you to know beyond a shadow of doubt that God created you for community, and that in that community you will find healing and a sense of belonging.

As we near the end of our series on healing from Church Hurt and Spiritual Abuse, we wanted to discuss how important it is to begin serving again within your local church body. Believe it or not, after you have re-inserted yourself into a new church context, it will seem like you cannot resist the pull of wanting to serve your brothers and sisters in Christ.
Listen as we talk rather candidly about how serving in our local churches is not just about what we need to feel safe and part of a family of believers but also for blessing those whom we serve. God gave each one of us gifts for us to use in His church. Stop resisting, and start using them.

Why is it so important to spend time in the Scriptures?
As we continue the conversation about healing from Spiritual Abuse, we want everyone to understand just how important it is to fill our minds with the Word of God. In this episode, we discuss how tough it can be to return to the Bible after it has been used to inflict pain and suffering on us.
Listen as we share some of our own reluctancy when going through our situation, as well as just some of our favorite potions of Scripture that reminded us of God's faithfulness. Through the example of David, we want everyone to know that God is a Man of His Word!

We're revealing a little bit more of our story of healing from our Spiritual Abuse on this episode. Through our example, we convey the reality that it can take a long time to realize we might be stopped in our abusive situation because of our hope that it will get better. Sometimes it never will, and that's when God comes through and moves us to action.
Listen as we share more details of the steps we took to get away from our abusers, the enormous amount of faith we employed, and how we can look back today and see God's fingerprints on all of it.
More than anything, we want you to be encouraged by our story, and hear how it has strengthened our faith forever.

The time has come for us to re-visit the subjects of Spiritual Abuse and Church Hurt.
In this episode, we introduce the new series by beginning the conversation about healing and what it could begin to look like. We're taking a trip back to two years ago when we began putting the plan together for action within our abusive situation.
Listen as we are transparent about our struggles to move forward, how the Lord had to smack us between the eyes and show us what to do, and just a couple of the areas we know healing still needs to happen. This is a very honest episode and one we are sure will cause you to want to hear more about the process of recovering from Spiritual Abuse.
One things is certain: we are definitely "Alone No More!"

Legalism. Fundamentalism. Elitism. There is no place for these in the local church. In this episode we tackle a rather sore subject for us regarding Christians who impose their personal convictions upon the Church.
Listen as we address a hot take that we came across and how it is an example of what not to do when the Holy Spirit is working on you and your walk with Jesus. Andrea recalls some biblical wisdom she received when she was young, and Heath gets a little fired up about some things he loves. Enjoy!

We're back! After a long hiatus, we return for Season 04!
There's so much going on around us right now, and it seems like people just can't seem to avoid picking fights with each other. Is this type of conduct becoming of a Christian? Listen as we try to talk some sense into the people of God about how we should be treating one another.
From the biblical perspective, listen as we plead with The Church to do everything possible to be at peace with each other. We guarantee this episode will make most of our listeners feel a little uncomfortable.
