  • Episode 60 (Season 4) What's Your Love Language?
Welcome to yet another exciting, interesting, educating, entertaining episode – sorry, we are a week late! (It had something to do with the one half of this duo being technologically challenged) And, if you’ve been paying attention you will notice that this is our special DIAMOND JUBILEE EPISODE! Woo hoo! So, apart from being the strongest substance known to man, a diamond is also used to seal the deal, ya know. Make it offish. Marilyn Monroe sang about them, and so did Beyoncé. But that’s enough about diamonds, you know what’s cooler in a relationship – its communication. And languages form the basis of communication. But what if you and your loved ones spoke two different languages to communicate your affection to each other? That’s where The Love Languages come into the picture. For this episode, we will be talking about the five key love languages that have the power to mend, break or nourish a relationship. Sweety and I will be sharing our results on the Love Language Test – and we will be talking about some practical ways YOU can use your test results for to better understand yourself and communicate your needs to your loved ones. Also, bonus add on – Sweety will be giving her garma-garam fresh review of Crazy Rich Asians – the first Hollywood movie featuring an all-East Asian cast. Well, glad you asked because we have been living our best life, making memories and creating stories – stories that we can share. And boy, do we have a stack of fresh stories to tell you guys! • Episode 53 (Season 4) April Aaj Ka Kabooter / Today's Pigeon News
For this week's Aaj Ka Kabootar aka Today's Pigeon News, Sweety and Pappu  dive right into April with our celebration of Dalit History Month. If you are not sure what that is, or if you're unfamiliar with the caste system, let this segment be your primer. The recent news about about 2.8 million CBSE students in Grade 10 and Grade 12 having to retake their exams really gave Pappu a cold sweat because it reminded her of her dreaded Board Exams (and that horrible reoccurring dream of her trying to match her LHS and RHS for a math exam). Next up, Sweety & Pappu talk about the Cambridge Analytica and Facebook scandal (also don’t tell me you still have the Facebook app on your phone!). Bonus: we discuss Annihilation, Alex Garland’s latest sci-fi offering (spoilers!) and Pappu’s recent dating disasters. So tune-in and leg! -- //ANNOUNCEMENT// Enjoy listening to Desi podcasts? • Episode 52 (Season 4) Conscious Consumption + Interview with Jasjyot Singh Hans
This month is going to be all about stopping to smell the flowers (literally and figuratively) and finding ways to feel less overwhelmed. If life around you has been generally been feeling shit, then let me tell you something: shit is a great manure to make flowers grow! For this episode, we are going to focus on rising above the flotsam and jetsam brought about by the bombardment of links, think pieces, book and music recommendations. We will be talking about the art of thoughtful consumption. We will also spare a moment to talk about the International Women’s Day and how it was significant while making a mention of some entertainment news. And stay right with us until the end because we are interviewing artist extraordinaire Jasjyot Singh Hans (instagram.com/jasjyotjasjyot). With a client repertoire that includes Sabyasachi, Adidas, Google & more, Jasjyot’s curve hailing and queer celebrating work sparks joy in our little hearts – and we want to share his awesomeness with you Chuski Poppers too! --- Sound Clips from: - Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja (1993) -- // Starring: • Sweety & Pappu // See what’s next on Chuski Pop: • ChuskiPop.com // Buy Art Prints - ChuskiPop.com/Shop // Donate - ChuskiPop.com/Donate // Patreon - Patreon.com/ChuskiPop // Listen To Us: • SoundCloud - @chuskipop • iTunes - itunes.apple.com/ca/podcast/chusk…d1021452101?mt=2 • Stitcher - www.stitcher.com/podcast/chuski-pop • GooglePlay - play.google.com/music/m/Itfvq2wpw…inei?t=Chuski_Pop • Youtube - www.youtube.com/channel/UCVXt7nc3pu2e9WJf6jcKMjg // Follow Us: • Twitter ► Twitter.com/ChuskiPop • Instagram ► instagram.com/chuskipop • Facebook ► facebook.com/chuskipop • Soundcloud ► @chuskipop
