“It’s not your fault” – Actually, it’s Cole’s fault. Thanks to some very unplanned work stuff, Cole took forever to get this edit done. However, our Good Will Hunting episode is worth a ticket to Game 6! Download now to hear if Skylar is actually funny, whether Robin Williams was overrated, and if Cole and Jedd would go see about a girl.

"Well it's Groundhog Day...again". On this episode Cole and Jedd go round and round as they discuss and dissect all things Groudhog Day. This film may appear to be a simple comedy but there is so much more beyond the shadow. This film has it all, comedy, existential questions, philisophical pursuits and of course all the flapjacks you can eat. So sit back relax and sit back and relax and sit back and relax because this one will be listened to over and over and over again.

“Cow….another cow. I think that was the same cow.” That’s right Burners, we start chasing tornadoes with the 1996 classic, “Twister”. Jan De Bont delivers an incredible disaster flick despite being a bit of a disaster himself behind the scenes. We get into all the meteorology and break down why this movie works, why the script is terrible, and why Cole thinks this is a fantastic “Mighty Ducks” remake. Strap down, get in the basement, and have some FOOOOOOD, because this is an F5 episode.

Today’s episode is an experimental journey through “Happy Accidents”, the 2000 Marisa Tomei/Vincent D’Onofrio romance. We mixed it up a bit and tried to have some fun with this off-beat, often bad, always bizarre time-travel romantic comedy. Cole watched the first half; Jedd watched the second and we then recorded our guesses as to what happened. Spoiler alert – Cole had no idea. We had a blast trying to dissect where this script was going and what could have been changed to make it work.

"The Glove… I had no problem with The Glove." This week we go dancing and basically gush over the greatest sports documentary of all time. We're of course talking about The Last Dance. The ten part espn series on the six time nba champion Chicago Bulls featuring the greatest to ever lace them up, Michael Jordan. To say this is a review is a stretch, it's 20 minutes of us talking about how perfect this series is. So put on your warmup and lace up your Jordan's because this quick burn is 23 (perfect).
“Sorry, I just took an upper decker” - That’s right, this week’s episode tackles the cult classic, MacGruber. We found a shoelace, ping pong ball, chewed gum, and a Bed Bath and Beyond coupon and turned it into a banger. We get into American Exceptionalism, car stereos, how many pumps the MPAA gives you, and why this movie lives on.

"Pain don't hurt" Or does it? No no, it definitely does not hurt. You know what else doesn't hurt? Doing a deep dive on the 1989 Patrick Swayze classic Road House. This film has so much subtley and layers and subtext and philosophical conundrums and...who are we kidding this film is all about kicking ass, monster trucks, explosions and hot women!! It has everything you would want in a film about a legendary cooler and the bouncers he manages and the sadistic ruler of pretty small town. We had a blast with this one and hope you enjoy.

“THERE’S NO CRYING IN BASEBALL!!” – or is there? In honor of what should be the very beginning of the baseball season, we talk about one of the greatest sports films of all time, “A League of Their Own”. Penny Marshall’s masterpiece is a perfect blend of sentimentality, action, and a sense of seeing something new. Take a trip back to the AAGPBL and look out for Cole’s emotional baseball monologue, Jedd’s revelation about Little League, and why Bitty Schram is the reason Tom Hanks gets credit!
