Tonight on Cigars Daily Live, we’re taking a look back in time. These days, everyone is always looking for the latest greatest new cigar to hit the market (and we have some of those to show you during this episode too). What most people don’t realize is that cigarmakers blend LOTS of cigars that never see the light of day. For every cigar that hits the shelves of cigar shops across the world, there are often many more that are created, recorded, and never come to realization. There are a lot of reasons this happens. But right now, we’re getting our hands on one of those blends that has finally made it’s way to the lime light of the cigar world!

This week on Cigars Daily LIVE, we're having a premature celebration of Father's Day! Let's face it, all the Dads out there are getting older… and faster than ever before. It turns out that being the man of the house is stressful! Who would have thought!? Fortunately, the Dads in the Cigars Daily Nation have a secret weapon to battling the stress of our world - a well crafted, hand-made, premium cigar! Cigars aren't for the faint of heart. The industry if filled with men and women who have been through some unspeakable trials and tribulations. Just over the last 100 years, there have been more than a couple historic events that have nearly wiped the cigar industry off the face of the planet. But cigar makers have survived. Tonight, we're going to talk about how the resilience of cigar people has created an industry of battle savvy people who get up every day to fight the good fight for the sake of their art.

Not every cigar is a winner. I spend a lot of my time looking for the cigars that have what it takes to win, and ignoring ones that I don’t think have ‘the right stuff’. That being said, I don’t get it right all the time. This seems very much like one of those times. Maybe this has happened to you, but I passed over this cigar brand many times before giving it a try. After that I was swept away. I’m sure it has happened to all of us at one point or another. On tonight’s episode, we’ll chat about the different cigars we resisted, at first, but fell in love with later.

With Cigars, some of us come for the flavor and stay for the friends. Some of us do it the other way around. But either way, you’ll always get more out of your favorite cigars when you pair them with an outstanding beverage. And in the world of Cigar content creators, I’m a big fan of the other guys and gals who contribute to the cigar world with their creative projects…. and then there’s Cigar Dojo! Man, there are some things that REALLY grind my gears about what Eric Guttormson, his son, and their team is doing over there. Tonight, is my expose to tell you all about it! Perdomo’s 30th Anniversary is a whale of a limited production cigar! In addition to draw testing every cigar in the 30th Anniversary line, Nick Perdomo has aged the wrappers for a mammoth 15 years, and finished them in charred bourbon barrels! Getting ahold of these cigars isn’t the easiest thing either. These cigars are made in limited production, and as a result are more seriously sought after than many of the limited edition cigars that are out there today!
