Grammy® Award Winner Kalani Pe'a and Allan Cool came by to talk about their new release No 'Ane'i. Kalani not only got a Grammy® Award 017 but also Nā Hōkū Hanohano Winner releases his sophomore album No 'Ane'i in Fall of 2018. No 'Ane'i means We Belong Here. In metaphoric meaning, Pe'a is describing and defining his Hawaiian music compositions with the intention of explaining to the listeners the values of maintaining our Hawaiian identity, our language and arts and building and retaining a strong foundation of Hawaiian cultural values and practices. Pe'a will take us on a journey through his life on his sophomore album with 8 Hawaiian original compositions and 4 classics with his renditions purely in Hawaiian, Contemporary and Soul. Pe’a’s debut album E Walea quickly hit the top of the iTunes and Billboard charts. On February 12th 2017 Kalani Pe'a's debut album "E Walea" won the Grammy® Award for "Best Regional Roots Music Album" and made history by being the first Hawaiian Recording Artist to ever win in the category. On May 20th 2017 Kalani Pe'a's debut album "E Walea" received the Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award (Hawai’i's version of the Grammys) for "Contemporary Album Of The Year". Pe'a then made history by being the FIRST Hawai’i Recording Artist to ever win a Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award & Grammy Award for the same album.

Jerleen Bryant joined the Maui Humane Society as CEO in June of 2014. She immediately reached out to the community, built bridges, increased revenue and consequently MHS regained support from the community as their confidence in MHS was restored. Jerleen successfully assembled a dedicated, capable and energetic management team who are  focused on MHS’s mission which includes saving the life of every animal possible. Under Jerleen’s leadership Maui Humane Society’s Live release rate (LRR) for dogs increased from 67% in FY14 to 95% in FY18 and the LRR for cats increased from 21% in FY14 to over 90% currently.

In November of 2017 Jerleen along with her team launched a community cat program that ended trap and euthanize for feral cats and MHS became the first Humane Society in the state of Hawaii to achieve a 90% LRR for both dogs and cats. 

Jerleen has extensive public speaking experience and embraces every opportunity to share the Maui Humane Society story in an effort to educate the community and gain support for the many lifesaving and life changing programs available at MHS.  Jerleen also enjoys talking with individuals working in animal welfare as well as those not in the animal welfare industry  to find innovative ways to save more animal lives and overcome barriers to high save outcomes.

In addition to Jerleen’s husband, three grown sons and her beloved dogs, she shares that her greatest love is animal welfare and believes that this field is truly where she is meant to be.

In 2016 Jerleen received the Maui County Outstanding Non-Profit Director of the year award. Jerleen was very proud to receive this honor and hopes to continue making a difference in the lives of homeless animals for many years to come.

Michael O’Dwyer hails from Clonmel in County Tipperary and emigrated to the U.S. in 1993 to work in food & beverage management at the Four Seasons in Dallas, later transferring to the Wailea Four Season in 1996. On May 1st 2001, he realized his dream and opened Mulligans on the BlueMulligans is Maui’s only Irish owned and run restaurant and bar.  While operated independently of theWailea Old Blue Course, Mulligans provides excellent food, beverages, and service to the Blue Course’s patrons.

With strong intent, a clear mind and right focus, you can call in the Light to use for your Light work. The more you practice this, the more you will see the powerful effects and the more Light will be available for you to use as a Light worker.

Since a near death experience in 1973 during surgery, Robert Dubial has consciously explored pathways of intuitive expression.
