Cinema Recall

Hello C.R.A.C.K. heads and welcome to this bonus episode where I The Vern give you my quick thoughts on some new shit that has been released very recently.

I will give you my honest opinions on

Is Ghostbusters: Afterlife a worthy sequel?

Will the live action adaptation of Cowboy Bebop please fans of the anime?

Is it worth your time to watch The Beatles practice

This episode appeared previously on our Patreon page.  For fun, I decided to take my chance and read some erotic stories, with a humorous twist.  It was clearly inspired by good friend of the show Nikky from In Bed With Nikky and her award winning podcast.  She is the professional and I urge everyone to check out her show ASAP.  I found a site that features letters rejected by Penthouse as well as some odd personal ads and thought it would be a great laugh to read a few of them to you.

The episode does feature explicit talk of sex and sexual activities so if that offends you.  Don't worry we have many other shows that will offend you even more,  I love you, enjoy.

First Time Watchers

Shocked and Applaud

What's worse than having to work over night in a grocery store, repricing items.  Well having a deranged lunatic stalk and kill your friends would be a bad way to spend any work day.

The poster for Intruder has a lot of big names  you will recognize such as Sam Raimi, Bruce Campbell, and  Lawrence Bender.  So how did this flick slip right past me.

Hello Everyone.

Today is Oct 31 2021 and this is the perfect time to release our awesome Halloween special.  Now I will be covering horror movies throughout the years because it's one of my favorite genres.  But for this special I am going to list my favorite scary flicks from the 70's all the way to today.  After that I will be reading a list from our wonderful listeners and supporters.  So be sure to stay to the end to hear even more great recommendations.

Hello all you freaks like me and welcome to our Halloween like episode, but we promise to do all sorts of horror and not just in October.  Coming back to the show is my good friend and Patreon member, Jason Soto of Rabbit Hole Podcasts.  Him and I talk about the very fun network he has and talk briefly about one of his many other great shows.  Than we talk about our history with the whole entire Friday the 13th franchise and Jason Vorhees.  Next we talk a little bit more about part 6 in the series and we close out with a dramatic audio interpretation of the first scene from that movie.(Cinema Recall Players Presents: begins around 1:00:42 mark)

Be warned the scene does  contains foul language with violence and gore.

The Great Pop Culture Debate

The following episode is my random thoughts after watching the latest film by director Julia Ducournau(Raw).   Titane is a movie that will have viewers fully engaged with it or extremely angry at for wasting their time.  It's win for best picture at the Cannes Film festival certainly put this into the heads of many film buffs, but how many of you will actually watch it.    Patreons  get a longer episode and your either welcome or I'm sorry.

Be sure to check out my guest spot on  The LAMBcast where I was joined by other great film critics  who had a very fun but diverse opinions on this film.
