This week, we tackle the daunting subject of high school movies. Our two featured films are Scent of a Woman and Me Earl and the Dying Girl. We get pretty heavy on spoilers for Me Earl and the Dying Girl so proceed with caution. We had a few technical glitches this week and so the audio quality is lower in the 2nd half of the podcast. Sorry about that!

If you have HBONow you can stream Me Earl and the Dying Girl. You can rent either movie on Amazon.

This week we take on Kevin Smith’s Clerks and the Cohen Brother’s Miller’s Crossing. David and I attempt to get the other to see the light on great directors that we’ve always been on the fence about. We also wanted to give back something special to all of you who have stuck with us for TWO WHOLE EPISODES and so we actually went out and talked to Kevin Smith himself! No really, we did!

There were a few technical difficulties — and we apologize, but we hope you’ll forgive us and come back for episode 3.
