High fives for season 5! This is our season 5 opener, almost 3 weeks late! Sorry about that. But...We're back! (in our best Ray Stantz voice). Expect our usual weekly episodes, including reviews, interviews and some original banter.

Hope everyone is keeping safe and healthy!

On this episode, we review the indie horror/comedy Why Don't You Just Die! It's violent as can be, but ironically funny and colorful. It's available on most digital streaming services and on blu-ray.

We review the experimental, semi-autobiographical indie film, She's Allergic to Cats. The film is written and directed by Michael Reich.

Synopsis:  Michael Pinkney is a dog groomer living in a rat-infested Hollywood dive with dreams of a bigger creative life.  His current ambition is to raise funding for an all-cat remake of Carrie.  At home he makes what he refers to as "weird video art that nobody wants to watch".  One day on the job, he meets Cora the girl of his dreams.  "When you're cutting their nails, is it supposed to bleed that much?", she asks, as he stares at her lovingly.  Easily distracted, creatively in knots and now in some sort of love, Michael's about to embark on a whole new dangerous trip.

We check out the indie-found-footage-horror, M.O.M. Mothers of Monsters. The film takes us in and out of the perspective of a distraught mother and her teenage son both of whom are dealing with mental issues and damaged family ties. The film will be released to VOD and digital outlets soon.

We check out the horror/thriller The Young Cannibals It's a fun flick with great creature effects and cool visuals, but it's got some mild faults as well. But we found some enjoyment in it.

We check out the film, My Hindu Friend, which is currently available on digital platforms such as Amazon, iTunes, inDemand, DirecTV, Vudu, Google Play, FANDANGO, Vimeo on Demand, FlixFing, Hoopla, AT&T, Xbox, Sony & Sling/Dish. We partially review the film and instead try to break down what we just saw on the screen. It's an unusual viewing experience and an interesting insight into the character of Diego.
