  • What Makes You Better Than Me Part 4: This is Just the Beginning

This week we have two special Guest Amina Person (Director Of The Martindale Brightwood CDC) and Ms. Joi Harman (Deputy Director Of The Martindale Brightwood CDC). They are coming to share their awesome online Martindale-Brightwood Black Friday Give Back and Reunion. The goal of the event is to engage past and current residents of the area they serve. The Martindale-Brightwood CDC is raising funds for its affordable housing initiative in the area. The focus is to have the property developed by a resident-driven fundraiser to make sure they have a say in their community. House is the key topic of our city, state, and country. It is our mission to be aware of the non-developmental opportunities for housing in our community. This is just the begging of our community building for themselves and one another. Keep pushing, Listening, and Evolving our society with me. NO TIME TO SLEEP…TIME TO CIRCLE UP!!!

  • What Makes You Better Than Me Part 3: True Colors of Our City

Today's discussion, I will talk about the true realities of what is or is not happening in our city/state with special guest Phillip Moore, CEO of We Power. What’s really going on in the minds of our community, and youth. Why individuals are not working and they have little to no support that does or does not exist in our city/state in order to develop our community and surroundings. We still continue to forget about our grassroots who are extremely important to the evolutionary development for our people. Keep pushing, Listening, and Evolving our society with me,…. • What Makes You Better Than Me Part 2: Let Them Doubt Us

Thank you to our special guest Jasmin Minor (Investigative Reporter with Wish-TV 8 Locally Owned and Operated Station) for coming and giving great input from a strong black woman’s perspective. Jasmin is more just a reporter, she is a resident of our community who cares about the development of our community especially the black community. As our community is currently stuck in a stagnant struggle, we must ask ourselves where do our legacy currently lies. Many in the black community fight to get ahead, but the lack of hope and support causes behaviors that are not becoming of our community. We must let others doubt, but let our developments speak for themselves. Connecting our community with greater opportunities, and supporting others who are looking to get ahead in life, but willingly and unknowingly leaving a legacy not just for their kids and family, but our society as a whole. Picasso once said, “Anything you imagine is real.” My challenge to you is how do you bring those thoughts into existence with purpose? No time to sleep…Time to Circle Up!

  • What Make You Better Than Me Part 1: Can't Teach an Old Dog New Tricks

Police & Racial Inequalities continue to go unaddressed even after the numerous protests in 2020. Our State political leaders have not touched the topic of inequalities, social injustice and systematic oppression. They have placed the burden on the local law enforcement. A video was recently released of a IMPD Sgt Eric Huxley. Jermaine Vaughn was cuffed when Huxley kicked the young black man in the head. Sgt Huxley is a 14 year veteran on the IMPD task force. We are still dealing with continual unrest. When will things evolve. Laws need to be changed, developed, and renewed. Our target focus no longer needs to be with our City political leaders but on the state level. To reform laws that benefit the people and hold law enforcement accountable. Keep pushing, listening and evolving our society with me. No time to sleep… Time to Circle Up!!

  • A Day With Amelia
Today's special guest is Amelia Reiling. Ms. Reiling is a striving artist currently attending Pepperdine in the Spring for an online Master's program in management and leadership. Ms. Reiling is seeking to work with university/college student leaders interested in alleviating poverty through an initiative called Impact.

Impact is an initiative looking for educators, curriculum experts interested in writing conflict management workshop exercises for grades k-12. An interested web developer would like to spearhead building a website where this curriculum would be accessible for teachers, parents, PTOs, etc. This initiative would be called Impact Emotional Intelligence. These are all volunteer-based opportunities. That Ms.Reiling has put much time and effort into seeing our society develop in a preventing stance instead of waiting at the last minute for sustainable solutions. Keep pushing, Listening, and Evolving our community with me,…. No Time To Sleep…Time To Circle Up!!

Today's special guest returning once again Reggie Brown, Community Resident, and first time guest Phillip Moore, Owner of We Power. We Power is a coaching company which serves individuals with criminal history. Pride, most of us tend to let our pride in the way. As my mother always told me “Pride Comes Before The Fall.” In other words, don’t let pride stop you from rising and asking for the needed help that will allow you to grow and be the successful man or woman your destined to be.

  • Classism...What Is It Really

Today's special guest is my brother, my friend, and classmate from high-school Xavier Blathers. Today is Xaviers Bday. For far to long it's been about money in our society and not more about the people. The have and have nots have been the way of life for years. Our country is breaking the middle class apart and poverty has grown. It is time we take a stand and fight, and build try equality.
