Nl: De zon stond hoog in de lucht boven Amsterdam.
En: The sun was high in the sky above Amsterdam.

Nl: De straten waren druk.
En: The streets were crowded.

Nl: Het was een mooie dag, maar een sterke wind woei over de stad.
En: It was a beautiful day, but a strong wind was blowing over the city.

Nl: Daan en Lotte, twee vrienden, hadden een plan.
En: Daan and Lotte, two friends, had a plan.

Nl: Ze wilden fietsen door de stad.
En: They wanted to cycle through the city.

Nl: De wind was sterk, maar ze waren niet bang.
En: The wind was strong, but they were not afraid.

Nl: Daan was de eerste die op zijn fiets stapte.
En: Daan was the first to get on his bike.

Nl: Hij trapte hard, maar de wind was sterker.
En: He pedaled hard, but the wind was stronger.

Nl: Daan reed in cirkels, hij kwam niet vooruit.
