Citizen Frame

You know things are bad when something makes Hallmark movies look good!

Join us on CITIZEN FRAME'S Christmas Month as we have some sort of existentialist crisis while trying to make sense of the absolute drivel that is the seasonal "comedy" (using the term in the loosest of manners!) DECK THE HALLS (2006), concerning a town and its profoundly moronic residents very possibly situated by the gates of Hell itself!

Enjoy!

When an obnoxious, self-centered family abandon their young son over Christmas, the house is soon invaded by dangerous criminals with malevolent intent, ultra-violent consequences ensuing, in a story that could be best described as THE STRANGERS meets GOODFELLAS . . .

That's right -- the much-loved family classic HOME ALONE (1990) is up next on CITIZEN FRAME's Christmas Month!

"PUNISH! NAUGHTY!"

Nothing screams Christmas quite like Santa going on the rampage with an axe -- especially on "garbage day"!

Christmas Month on CITIZEN FRAME continues with aplomb with our take on the newly-released remake of SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT -- but does it hold up to the original cult classic?

It's Christmas Month on CITIZEN FRAME!

And what better way to celebrate the season of giving than with an apocalyptic virus wiping out humanity and a violent criminal being sent on a mind-bending, time-travelling journey into insanity!

Join us as we discuss Terry Gilliam's 12 MONKEYS (1995) starring Bruce Willis and Brad Pitt -- and which is also set at Christmas before anyone asks! 😉 🐒

What do get when you cross STAR WARS, SEVEN SAMURAI and THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN with Roger Corman, John-Boy Walton, sexy Viking ladies and spaceships that resemble parts of the human anatomy?

You've guessed it -- BATTLE BEYOND THE STARS (1980), up next on the latest episode of CITIZEN FRAME!

Enjoy!

"No! Not the bore worms!"

Join us on the latest edition of CITIZEN FRAME as we head to the planet Mongo to hang out with Emperor Ming, Klytus, Princess Aura and Prince Barin and the lads, with a look at the campy, overtly sexualised cult classic from 1980, FLASH GORDON!

He'll save everyone of us, you know!

Enjoy!

 "Wanna date?"

Mary Shelley's FRANKENSTEIN; OR, THE MODERN PROMETHEUS is one of the most influential novels ever written, that has been adapted for the screen hundreds of times.

On the latest edition of CITIZEN FRAME, we take a detailed look at two of these adaptations, both iconic in their own ways -- the recently-released Guillermo del Toro version and the 1990 "sexploitation" sleazefest FRANKENHOOKER!

Ok!  Iconic maybe the wrong word to use to describe Frankenhooker.

Enjoy!

It's witchin' time -- and Mater Suspiriorum awaits!

This year's "Halloween Month and a Half" wraps up in style with our look at Dario Argento's influential and unique slasher/Giallo/Gothic classic, SUSPIRIA!

You can expect blood, gore and childish insults -- and that's just Ciaran and Trevor.

Enjoy!

It wouldn't be Halloween Month and a ½ without a king movie.

This is a grim tale that has glimpses of Stand by Me and maybe even Lord of the Flies.

50 young men are chosen from a lottery to walk with a speed of 3 miles an hour or more until only one is standing.

Luke Skywalker doesn't use the force in this one but does have a military team he Captains watching their moves and has orders to shoot if the rules are broken.

Join Ciaran and Trevor as they chat about this dark tale about humanity, forgiveness, loyalty and friendships in King fashion.

Enjoy!

Tarantino meets anthology horror in this year's big surprise hit.

Where have the 17 children gone?

Why is Alex the only kid still around?

Who made Gladys wig?

Where is the FBI?

What Hallmark Christmas film is Trevor going to pick?

Join Ciaran and Trevor as they discuss this year's big runaway smash.

Enjoy!
