The backdrop of this awesome episode is love and friendship.  Stephanie and Chad have been the best of  friends for decades.  From teenagehood to adulthood listen to an epically entertaining and heartfelt deep dive into everything Chad Kimball.  How it all began, how faith, family and humor have been the pillars through many challenges in life and of course LOTS of giggles. 

We broke this episode down into 2 parts! 

Part 1 - The deep dive into all of Chad’s amazing accomplishments and what it was like to be nominated for a Tony for the role he created in Memphis, Huey Calhoun.  The inspiring and humbling act of having to walk away from it all and having to face addiction and recovery and the beautiful story of how he met his amazing wife Emily Swallow. (Also lots of laughs and inside jokes and side talk to fur babies who were in studio!)

And a lot of other thoughts and musings too! After a brief podcast hiatus Stephanie is back and introduces Deniz O'Rourke to the Citizen Sister family :) He is one of our new CS engineers and editors and an extraordinary artist as well. 

After a previously recorded episode was erased Stephanie and Deniz discuss how frustrating it was to lose and letting it go, technology, what it means or does not mean to be brave and vinyl. Deniz also answers our fire round questions we ask every guest. And at the end of this very spontaneous re-do episode Stephanie finally shares a SONG!!!
