Psalm 48 describes the city in this way “Beautiful in elevations, the joy of the whole earth, is Mount Zion.” ... I think psalmist is referring here to the heavenly Mount Zion as well. Hebrews 12 tells us that Christians are citizens of the heavenly Zion.

God established the city of Jerusalem, and His greatness in and around the city was evident. Likewise, you are a citizen of the heavenly Zion. As God built this city, He is building our lives. And He dwells within. As your refuge, God protect and look after your needs. Let Him care for you and establish you.
