Since last week we talked about the Yamas which are the social codes to live by, lets this week talk about the Niyamas the personal codes to live by. The Niyamas are Cleanliness, contentment, austerity, study of scripture, and devotion to God. While the Yamas are about how one interacts with society and others, the Niyamas are personal practices that make us look internally.

This week we finish up the Yamas with, Brahmacharya, and non-possessiveness. We also dive into a some modern application to try and bring it home. In the meditation section we focus on our breath.

Today I am going to talk about the Yamas, or the 5 social codes to live by that you should using in your life to interact with society and people.

The Yamas are non-violence, truthfulness, non-stealing, celibacy, and renunciation of possessions. In part 01 we will be discussing non-violence, truthfulness, non-stealing, along with a couple a book recommendations that I think you will enjoy!

In Today's episode we discuss the 3 ways people endure suffering, that everything is Suffering even PLEASURE is SUFFERING, and how that suffering feeds karma and comes from the klesas.
