Fears flea in the light of God’s presence.

The closer you can walk, the closer you choose to walk, The more you choose to be intimate with him, the more he wants to be intimate with you. Transparency, and relieving your heart of your inner most thoughts to him will dispel anything that’s dark in your heart. Light dispels all darkness.

Mark 1:21-34

Gal 1:11-24 it is good to meet a man like Paul, who dared to be himself in the will of God. His freedom in Christ was a threat to those who found safety and conformity. Paul’s enemies pointed to his non-conformity as proof that his message and ministry were not really of God. They argued, he claims to be an apostle, but he does not stand in the apostolic tradition. It is this misrepresentation that Paul answered in the section of Galatians

Galatians chapter 1:1-10. Paul was not a politician; he was an ambassador. His task was not to “play politics” but to proclaim a message. The Judaizers, on the other hand, we’re cowardly compromisers to mix law and grace, hoping to please both Jews and Gentiles, but never asking whether or not they were pleasing God. Are you pleasing God today?

The Bible offers a powerful alternative to drinking, Ephesians 5:18, “do not get drunk with wine, which will ruin you; instead be filled with the Spirit.”

Certain verses of the Bible are clear, both in context and out of context. Some of them are more more mirror statements of facts or explanations. Others are straightforward directions or condemnations. Then there are the verses of the Bible that become clearer in context and with a deeper understanding of the culture. Without these pieces of information, the verse can be a little confusing.

2 Timothy 4. The fact that a preacher has a large congregation is not always a sign that he is preaching the truth. In fact, it may be evidence that he is tickling peoples “itching ears“ and giving them what they want to hear instead of what they need to hear. It is about a short step from “itching ears“ to turning ones years away from the truth. Once people have rejected the truth they turn the fables or miss. It is not likely that man-made fables will convict them of sin or make them want to repent! The result is a congregation of comfortable, professing Christians, listening to a comfortable, Religious talk that contains no Bible doctrine.
