Romans 13: Jesus more and his disciples at their worst enemies might be those of their own household and Matthew 10. Unfortunately, some believers have enemies because they lack love and patience, and not because they are faithful in their witness there is a difference between sharing in “the offense of the cross” and being an offense of Christian

Romans 12; our Lord minister to the common people, and they heard him gladly. When a local church decided once only a certain “ high class” of people, it departs from the Christian ideal for Ministry

Romans 11– God has included “all in unbelief – – Jews and Gentiles – – so that all might have the opportunity to be saved by grace. “There is no difference.“ If God can save the juice by his grace and mercy today, why can’t he save them in the future? We must remember that God chose the Jews so that the Gentiles might be saved.

Breaking the law cannot give righteousness; it only leads the center to the Savior who can give righteousness. Christ is “the end of the law” in the sense that through his death and resurrection, he has terminated the ministry of a law for those who believe. The law is ended as far as Christians are concerned. The righteousness of the law is being fulfilled in the life of the believer through the power of the Holy Spirit, Romans 8:4, but the reign of the law has ended, see Ephesians 2, Colossians 2.

ELECTION, SOVEREIGNTY! No one will deny that there are many mysteries connected with divine sovereignty and human responsibility. Nowhere does God ask us to choose between these two truths, because they cut both come from God and are a part of god’s plan. They do not compete; they cooperate. The fact that we cannot fully understand how they work together does not deny the fact that they do.

Romans 8. We are “more than conquerors,“ literally, “we are super conquerors“ through Jesus Christ! He gives us victory and more victory! We need not fear life or death, things present or things to come, because Jesus Christ loves us and gives us the victory. This security in Christ is an established fact and we claim for ourselves because we are in Christ. Nothing can separate you from His love! Believe it, and rejoice in it!

Division, is not acceptable to God. We have grace to do hard things, God has equipped us to do all that He has instructed us todo.

No wonder the believer under the law becomes tired and discouraged, and eventually gives up! He is a captive and his condition is “wretched”. The Greek word wretched indicates a person who is exhausted after a battle. What could be more wretched than exerting all your energy to try to live a good life, only to discover that the best you do is still not good enough!

The end saved person is free; free from righteousness. But his bondage to sin only need some deeper into slavery so that it becomes harder and harder to do what is right. The prodigal son is an example of this. When he was at home, he decided he wanted his freedom, So he left time to find himself and enjoy himself. But his rebellion only lead him into deeper slavery. He was a slave of wrong desires, then the slave of wrong deeds, and finally he became a literal slave when he took care of the pigs. He wanted to find himself, but he lost himself! What he thought was freedom turned out to be the worst kind of slavery. It was only when he returned home and yelled into his father that he found true freedom.

Romans 5. In representing his case, Paul has prove that the whole world is guilty before God, and that no one can be saved by religious deeds, such as keeping the law. He is explaining that God’s way of salvation has always been “by grace, through faith” Ephesians 2:8, 9. He has used Abraham as his illustration.
