After 10 years in the Army and 10 years in Corporate America, Beth Fynbo finally met her perfect match and started a family at the age of 40.  Just a few months after her first son was born she had an idea for a simple baby product that would solve a problem all new parents experience, the constant dropping, and throwing of toys.  The Busy Baby Mat is a placemat that suctions to surfaces and has a tether system to keep toys attached and off the floor. In the past 4 years, she has taken that idea all the way to the market and ABC's Shark Tank! With the constant goal of making life easier with a Busy Baby, Beth has also developed an all-in-one teether and training spoon and will soon be releasing a mini version of the mat.  Beth's goal is not just to make life easier for parents with her innovative products, but also to inspire other moms with great ideas to go for it!

She has a niche lending in the M&A space as well as to schools, including a variety of charter and private educational institutions. She’s received numerous awards including the MSPBJ’s 40 under 40 and Women to Know, Finance & Commerce’s Top Women in Finance and Twin Cities Business Notable Women in Commercial Banking. Melissa serves on various boards and committees and enjoys coaching the many sports her kids are involved in. She considers herself a multiplier and is passionate about having and being a mentor.
