What can we learn from the feet of Holy Week? Feet? Yeah, feet. Join us this morning as we look at the way of Jesus from 3 different perspectives of the last week of Jesus' earthly life.
It is easy to feel scared when looking at the state of the world around us. Wars, turmoil, chaos and suffering continue to surround us. It feels sometimes like we are at the end of the world. What kind of people do we need to be at the end of the world? Jesus' answer may surprise you. Join us as we look at what Jesus says about the people we need to be for the end of the world.
Do you feel blown by the wind? Is there a way to stay rooted and close to Jesus? Yes! God promises to keep us close to Him by the Power of the Holy Spirit. Come learn more about how to remain in Jesus with us this morning.
Can planting fruit trees teach us about the new world coming in Jesus? Jesus says that we can identify a person by the fruit their life produces. Is the fruit of our lives evidence that the new Kingdom of Jesus is at work? Or does our fruit showcase something else? Join us this morning as we learn about cultivating the love, joy and peace of the Kingdom of God.
Jesus says it's best for his disciples and for us, if he goes away. How can this be? Where are you going Jesus? Join us as we begin walking with the disciples in the Upper Room with Jesus over the next few weeks and learn what it means to have intimacy with God through the Holy Spirit.
What do we do when it looks like God shows up for everyone else, but is always late when we need Him? Join us as we continue in the Book of John this morning!
With a desire to draw near to Jesus throughout this lenten season, we want to join together in fasting
and feasting. We fast in order to be drawn away from distraction and we feast in order to be drawn
near to Jesus and one another. In order to set the stage for Easter we want to disconnect from the
social media algorithms that can so easily distract and dominate our attention. Please join us in
fasting from social media throughout this entire season. But, we don’t want this time to simply be an
empty void, but something that we fill up with God and service to others. So, consider ways you can
spend the time you would have used on social media to connect with Jesus, one another, and serve
your neighbors. In addition to this fast, because God made us as embodied creatures, we want to
connect with him throughout this season using all 5 of our senses. So, each week we will highlight
one of our senses and engage in both fasting and feasting in order to draw near to Jesus and serve
one another.
