We hold to many assumptions about what where things are going and how the end comes. Ideas like a secret rapture, 7-year tribulation, Christians becoming fewer and fewer, being the last generation, etc.

Finishing our short series on reforming worship. Today we discuss a few positive reforms to our liturgy which would align us with what is objectively happening - covenant renewal. Some of the changes, we believe, would greatly uplift our spiritual and emotional maturity, and even lead to fewer pastoral counseling situations to develop. 

In the end, when we worship rightly, we will be equipped to point our nation rightly.

The topic of educating children as Christians is a major one these days, especially as our culture at large continually lurches down a radically secular and intolerant direction. What used to be three solid options of schooling for Christian children, no longer seems to be the case. 

Who is primarily responsible for educating our children? Which schooling option is best? Does it ultimately matter? 

These are some of the questions explored in this lecture. Lots of class engagement and comments in this one. 

The rise of Christian Nationalism requires us to give some much-needed caution: We must reform our worship if we want any kind of sustainable righteous social ethic.

This second session finishes the overview of modern deficiencies in worship and then asks a crucial question: What happens in worship? What are we there for? 

What we learn is both surprising and comforting - something objectively happens when we worship.
