Country Boy Rick from Carnation owns his own construction firm and also likes being outside. For his date, well, honestly he figures he doesn’t have to try too hard after the TEDx dude, so he suggests hiking at Snoqualmie Falls and then dinner at the Roadhouse Inn with “light convo and no lectures.” We’re not gonna tell you who she picks in this little recap - you gotta listen. October 07, 2019Wait, Is This “City vs Country” or “All Jacked Up”?Josh is from Lynwood. He is a software programmer at a start-up who loves camping and hanging out with his little dog. We introduce him to Country Girl Hannah from Marysville and City Girl Miranda from Kent. Country Girl Hannah suggests going out to Stalker Farms for some scary Halloween fun in the corn maze and they discuss what kind of fun can be had in the woods of the country. City Girl Miranda starts off kinda odd, with a tirade about girls from Marysville and how they steal men and ideas, because she accuses Hannah of stealing her idea about going to Corn Maze. Turns out she’s had a past with some people from Marysville. Josh sorta lets that go by and continues asking other questions but we are all a little stunned. The text messages are already flying in before Josh even makes his choice and the more Miranda talks the more uncomfortable it gets. Especially when she starts describing what she wears. And then there’s the date…so, how did it go? Here’s a hint: Josh actually sent Fitz a message IN ALL CAPS!...more12minPlay
September 30, 2019I Could Go For a St Pauli GirlChris is from Belfair and works in the marine industry. He’s been looking for love for a while and hopes we can help him find a nice girl. He gets to choose between Country Girl Danielle from Allyn and City Girl Alicia from Bremerton and wow are they different from one another. Country Girl Danielle is pretty shy. She suggests they hang out at the Allyn Town Octoberfest where they can talk, enjoy food and beverages, and catch some of the local artist demonstrations like the chainsaw log carvers. City Girl Alicia is not at all shy. She is a golfer and invites Chris to Gold Mountain Golf Club where her dad is the Pro. She says even if he doesn’t want to play (although she really can’t hang with a guy who doesn’t) they can have lunch at the Club where the menu is spectacular and if they don’t have something he likes, well then, they’ll just make him whatever he wants. City Girl Alicia gets pretty flirty but just when it seems Country Girl Danielle is fading from the picture, she reminds Chris that Octoberfest means she’ll be wearing a Dirndl. So which Girl will Chris choose? Will they actually go out? And why do some of these City vs Country Girls always seem to bring their Dads into the picture?...more13minPlay
