We started off the series finding courage in our discouragement. We know that because God is with us, we can step into purpose boldly and triumphantly. The church was reminded that He won't LEAVE us, He won't FORSAKE us, and He won't FORGET us!

One of the realest struggles we face...is when our phones are dying. We often see people sitting on the floor in the mall by a plug... charging their phone. People in airports...charging stations are popping up everywhere! The struggle is real! Whats even harder sometimes though...is to keep a spiritual charge all year long. It’s TIME to HOLD your charge.

In our last installment of Shadows of the Cross, we see Jesus in the Story of Abraham and Isaac. We learn, like the ram in the thicket, Jesus became our substitute. He took our place. He spared us to not spare His son.

In this sermon, we see the shadow of the cross in Genesis when God asked Noah to build an ark. The story of Noah is a reflection of grace and faith and how God provided salvation from his wrath like he did with his son on the cross. The ark is a picture of salvation and through Jesus, we are able to enter in salvation.

In this sermon, we see the shadow of the cross in the story of Cain and Abel. We learn that Abel shows a picture of Jesus in that he gave a better sacrifice and was killed due to envy. Among these similarities lies a HUGE contrast differentiating the shadow from the real thing which is their blood. Abel's blood cried out justice while Jesus' blood cried out mercy. His blood speaks a better word over us.

In our first installment of Shadows of the Cross, we see the picture of Jesus in Exodus where Moses is put in a cleft of a Rock. The church learned that GOD IS THE ROCK and the cleft is a picture of Jesus because while Moses was in the cleft of the rock, he was able to endure God's presence. While we are in Jesus Christ, we are able to go to the Father.

In our last installment of this month's series, Pastor Luis shares what the three traits of a hungry soul are. The church learns what it means to be truly hungry for God and what it takes as believers to achieve it. This is a timely message for anyone seeking to develop a hungry soul for God.

On our last day of "21 days of Prayer", Pastor Luis talks about redigging the wells of revival. He talks about how the church must resolve their offenses so that they can hunger for God truly. This message challenged the church to clean out their hearts from all the offense and hate so that God is able to fill their hearts and create a deeper intimacy with Him.

In this week's sermon, Pastor Luis challenges the church to find comfort in the presence of your Father. God wants to manifest in our lives in a way that we've never seen before but it takes humility and hunger for his presence.

During our 21 Day Prayer, City Wide Church had a special guest, Pastor Jan Nell bring forth a powerful and timely word. He spoke about calling, frustration, and how to rise higher than the lies of the enemy.
