During our 21 Day Prayer, City Wide Church had a special guest, Pastor Jan Nell bring forth a powerful and timely word. He spoke about calling, frustration, and how to rise higher than the lies of the enemy.

Have you ever tasted something SO GOOD that you would completely go out of your way to get it? How about when you see what you think is a good TV show and you can’t wait to go home and binge watch because you have developed a hunger to know the plot and experience all the twists! In this sermon, In that same way, Pastor Luis encourages the church to develop a hunger for a deeper and more intimate knowledge of the Lord God this year. A timely message for those who want to start off their year completely surrendered and HUNGRY for God.

A full year is coming to a close. For some it was a year of highs, for others it was a year of lows but for believers it was a year of blows. A year where the enemy, like every year, probably came at you with everything he had. In this sermon, we learn that Paul and Silas have received many a blow. They have been attacked and beaten for freeing a girl possessed by a demon. It’s so important to understand here that walking in God’s will this year could be much of the reason you have been attacked and talked about. If you haven't learned by now, not everyone will be happy about your freedom in Jesus. This is a timely message for those desiring their "new year" to be purposeful.

In this season of Christmas, where the church of Jesus Christ chooses to the birth of Jesus, lies the one day that all of creation finally had hope and peace. Mary and Joseph found themselves in a tough place. Nothing probably looked like they expected but yet, it’s not what it looks like. I know there is no way you can tell me Mary wasn’t overjoyed with Jesus as a baby. They had to make due with what they had. But yet, what might have looked like a mess to Mary was a miracle to the world. It's NOT what it looks like.

Every single person in this church is in need of God’s peace. For some it’s the peace of reconciliation with God you need. Meaning freedom from your sins. For others its an inner peace due to turmoil and anxieties. Even if at this moment you don’t need it, eventually you

will! One day you will desperately need it. Don't worry, this is exactly what Jesus offers us. He offers us peace that spans so many levels. What does it look like when peace is present in our lives even in the midst of trials and tribulations?

What do you do when your life falls to pieces? When the life you worked so hard for just crashes around you? When God’s plan for your life wrecks you? God’s purpose or plans for your life rarely ever comes at an opportune time and usually always disrupts all of your plans and rearranges all of your life. In scripture, we find the virgin Mary facing some similar circumstances. Your situation might be slightly different in that her reason for facing hardship was God’s plan, your reason might be because your re trying your plan. The difference is, only one plan offers true peace in the midst of it.

In our last installment of Big, the church learned that being consistent in your faith walk will leave a big impact to those around you. The church was challenged to be real in their walk and to commit to the process of becoming an authentic Christian. This is a timely message for those who have accepted Christ as their personal Lord and Savior but find themselves saying "Now, what?" What can I do between salvation and eternity?

In this weeks sermon, City Wide Church hears a message from guest preacher, William McCullough. In this message, he informed the church that God's greatest work came in a small package and that God chose to live in us. We as believers, house the spirit of God and when we allow God to dwell in us, we are able to move forward with less struggle because He lives in us.

anything except that which Christ says we are to do. Are you obedient to Jesus? Sometimes we get so caught up in our feelings and we feel so justified in how we feel we rationalize that because we feel so strongly that JESUS HAS TO FEEL THE SAME! So If we are following Jesus like we said last week, the next SMALL thing we could do that would have an enormously BIG impact is then to be obedient to Jesus. To actually then do what he says.
