On Thursday, the Syrian rebel group led by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham took the city of Hama just days after taking control of Aleppo. While we often try to view global conflicts through the lens of good vs. evil, not all human conflicts can be so simply categorized. Attempting to fit complicated issues into simple boxes is one of the most common reasons people stumble into error. However, settling for anything less than the truth will always leave you worse off in the end.
