A new study polled 2,000 people but found only 68 per cent of men and 72 per cent of women consider themselves adults. Most Millennials considered 26 to be the official age of adulthood, while Baby Boomers placed it at 31. Some of the signs of adulthood given in the survey included having a budget, buying a house, filing your own taxes, doing your own laundry, making a grocery list, and listening to the nightly news.
