School boards in Lambton-Kent are aware of the potential for a student walkout today, the City of Windsor is heading to court today in a bid to end the blockade at the Ambassador Bridge, and the return to face to face learning seems to be going well so far according to the directors of education at the two largest school boards in Chatham-Kent.

Local school boards are expecting some good news from Ontario's chief medical officer of health today when it comes to school sports, Ontario's Liberal Leader is pushing for the province to take stronger action against the organizers of protests in Ottawa and Windsor, and the federal Conservatives are now calling for an end to the blockades.

Chatham-Kent's population is increasing slowly but steadily, the Ambassador Bridge in Windsor is closed to traffic in both directions as a protest on Huron Church Road continues, and drivers in the Bothwell area who take the Clachan bridge will have to take a detour for the next several months.
