Veteran NHL play-by-play announcer John Forslund says that his exit from the Carolina Hurricanes organization was amicable. Forslund also said that he would consider taking the Seattle NHL broadcast job if it was offered to him.

TSN hockey insider Darren Dreger says that the NHL is hopeful it will be able to have fans back in the seats for next season, but it will be the health authorities who will ultimately make that decision.

Former Canucks head coach and current Chicago Blackhawks assistant coach Marc Crawford says that Jack McIlhargey was prince of a man, and was extremely respected among his peers. Crawford also says that the upcoming NHL playoffs played in the bubbles of Edmonton and Toronto will interesting to say the very least.
