Seahawks insider Gregg Bell says that the NFL failed the players when they tried to peacefully protest the social injustices and police brutality that African-Americans were being exposed to in the United States. Bell says the billionaire white owners were more concerned about their bottom line and public image, then to what players like Colin Kaepernick among others were kneeling in protest about.

Paul Tenorio from the Athletic says that a lockout would not be a good look for the MLS, who, over the last few years has garnered a good reputation worldwide from international players. Tenorio says that a lockout is not what the players want right now.

Mike Russo from the Athletic in Minnesota says that the NHL is considering Los Angeles as one of its hub cities. Russo also says that Alex Stalock looks to be the favourite to start in goal for the Wild when they face the Canucks in the best of five qualifying series.

Former NHL player Mark Fraser says that growing up there were times as an African-American he felt that he couldn't truly be himself around his hockey teammates. Fraser also says that it's one thing for the NHL to send out tweets and social media posts condemning intolerance in the hockey community, but that the league should put initiatives in place to help better address the issue.
