TSN/RDS hockey insider Pierre LeBrun says that the NHL still hasn't confirmed whether or not the play-in qualifying round is going to be considered the playoffs. LeBrun also said that the league and the NHLPA are also trying to come to an agreement on the length of the playoff series', and whether or not there will be a re-seeding after the play-in round is complete.
