TSN hockey insider and game analyst Ray Ferraro wonders why it matters where the NHL plays its games when it returns if the city it's in doesn't have access to go to the games. BC Premier John Horgan says that the economic advantage for hosting the NHL as a hub city would be barely a blip, but it would be good for the soul of British Columbians during these unprecedented times. Premier Horgan also said that the public health would not be compromised if Vancouver were to be a hub city for the NHL.

BC Lions owner David Braley says that the hope is the CFL will get some sort of season in this year, even if it's an 8 or 9 game schedule that starts in September. Braley went on to say that he feels the league could be in dire straits if the 2020 season is cancelled outright.
