Our Vancouver Canucks reporter, JPat back in his regular spot, joined Matt and Blake from the rink. Jeff gave a breakdown of how things will look in Whistler for training camp. With Bruce saying today that the lines we see at camp should be the ones we see on opening night, the guys went through their starting lineups, with Jeff having a wrench in earlier plans. Jeff answered our Bodog poll question, asking if Bo’s contract situation will be a distraction and why we just won’t be able to get away from it. Jeff talked about Thatcher Demko and where is head is at going into the new season.

Patrick Johnston of Post Media and the Province joined Matt and Blake for his regular Tuesday hit. PJ started off teasing a Jim Rutherford profile he is working on. PJ talked about the kind of manager and leader Rutherford has been during his time as a GM/President in the league. Patrick talked about the contrast between Horvat and Miller and how they will each fit into the lineup. The subject of Miller’s thin-blue-line hat came up and PJ talked about why that doesn’t surprise him.

Our Vancouver Canucks reporter, Jeff Paterson, joined for his regular daily hit. The guys wrapped up Young Stars and how the “tournament went for the Canucks. Together the guys talked about the potential of expansion for next year with Seattle. Jeff dropped an interesting tidbit on why Seattle might be able to force their way in. John Shannon joined Matt and Blake joined for his regular Monday hit. The conversation started with the guys talking about the success of the Young Stars Showcase. The subject of Bo Horvat came up quickly after that where John talked about the distraction that his contract situation will have on the upcoming season. John talked about who will have a harder time blocking out the discussion. Following that, the guys brought up Jake Virtanen and the Oilers signing him to a PTO. John brought up the difference between him and Evander Kane. Would Ethan Bear be a fit in Vancouver? The guys put it to John.

Jeff talked about his production and how it stacks up against the rest of his draft class. JPat talked about Danila Klimovich and his performance at the showcase. Jeff gave his thoughts on Linus Karlsson and how he looked on North American ice. Jeff also gave his thoughts on Nils Åman. There is a curiosity around him, no doubt. Though, Jeff reminded us that he is a 6th rounder for a reason.

Cody Franson joined Matt and Blake to chat about where he is at in his career and where he hopes to be playing. He talked about his strong golf game and how it relates to being a hockey player.

The General Manager of the Calgary Flames, Brad Treliving, joined Matt and Blake table-side at Neighbourhood. Brad talked about the incredible summer that was for his team. Brad used an interesting poker analogy when trying to offload Matthew Tkachuk. Brad talked about how the Nazem Kadri deal came about. He answered our Bodog Poll Question, which Western Canadian team is the best. His answer was diplomatic, to say the least. Brad talked about the city that Penticton has become.

Sportsnet Canucks Reporter, Dan Murphy, joined Matt and Blake table-side at Neighbourhood. Murph talked about the playoff odds for the Vancouver Canucks.

The President of the Vancouver Canadians, Andy Dunn, joined Matt and Blake after starting off the Championship series down 2 games. Andy talked about what happened in the two losses. Andy talked about what makes Eugene so difficult to play. Moving on from that, he talked about a couple of players from Canada that have had a big impact this season.

John talked about the 12 teams that are over the cap and how they will go about fixing it. It’s been 50 years since the Summit Series. John talked about the impact it had on hockey in Canada and what he was doing at that point in time.

Rob started off with talking about how offended he was that we had another “The Hockey Guy” on the program yesterday. After the air was cleared the guys talked about the division in Canucks nation about the J.T. Miller deal. It’s 'PTO szn' so the guys got into the Danny DeKeyser signing announced today.

The Hockey Guy (THG), Shannon Skanes, joined Matt and Blake for today’s Price is Right. He started off talking about how he started his YouTube channel and how it has evolved into what he is doing now. THG talked about his massive jersey collection. You will never guess how many he actually has.

Jeff Paterson, our Vancouver Canucks Reporter, joined us for his regular appearance. Jeff talked about the day the Queen dropped the puck for a Canucks preseason game.
