Jeff pondered who from this years team, won’t be around come next training camp. There just isn’t enough to go around.

Patrick Johnston of the Province, joined Matt and Blake for his regular hit on this Tuesday after Labour Day. PJ talked about Miller, his new deal, why he might have left money on the table. Talked about the gamble this contract could be. PJ talked about the potential of a trade, even though he just signed. Patrick answered our Bodog Poll Question, asking if J.T. Brandon Sutter joined Matt and Blake for S&P Presents. He started off by giving us a health update and where he is at. He talked about breathing troubles and how far he has come. Brandon said his mental health is in a better place compared to being stressed for the last year. Brandon talked about his current relationship with the Vancouver Canucks and what role they are playing in his recovery. Brandon talked about contracting the virus at a time when the team had the worst outbreak in professional sports. Brandon talked about the young core of the team and what it was like to see them grow up on and off the ice.

Vancouver Sportscaster, Scott Rintoul, joined Matt and Blake for his regular Thursday hit. Scotty gave his thoughts on the trade that brought Vernon Adams back to the Lions and if he could be here longer than the season, depending on what happens with Nathan Rourke next year. Scotty gave his expectations of the Seahawks for this upcoming year and how Geno Smith may fair as the starter. Scotty went around the rest of the NFL to see how the Hawks will stack up.

Harman Dayal of the Athletic Vancouver joined Matt and Blake after he pondered, in a recent piece, a question about every Canucks players going into training camp. He started off with Elias Pettersson and his superstar potential. The next questioned was about OEL and potentially moving him to the right side. Harm talked about what makes Pearson such a coaches favourite.

The recently retired Kyle Turris, joined Matt and Blake as he heads into his first season of retirement. Kyle talked about why he decided to retire now. He went on to chat about all of his NHL stops. Kyle spoke about how much the fans meant to him, what’s next in his life and what his role with the BCHL’s Coquitlam Express will be.

The C.O.O. and soon to be President of the Lions, Duane Vienneau, joined Matt and Blake in studio for his first appearance on Sekeres and Price. Duane talked about how he came into the job and how difficult it was to stay away at the start when he knew he would be here at that point. Duane talked about why he wanted to come to B.C. A lot of it had to do with Amar Doman and his vision for the brand. Duane talked about how to drive excitement and energy into 10 home games.
