Craig Button loves the upside of Cale Makar, Cody Glass, and Martin Necas, and suggests Klim Kostin may be waiting a while to be drafted. Craig also suggests Timothy Liljegren could go very high or not be picked until Saturday. Craig wouldn’t be surprised if Makar went first overall to New Jersey

Pierre McGuire says there’s a player one team has on top of its list, while another team has that same player outside the top15 in tonight’s draft. As a result of that discrepancy, it’s very hard to guess which players will go in what order. Pierre says it’s not a strong draft – it has its share of top-six forwards and top-four dmen – but the majority of first-rounders project to be depth players, much like the 1999 draft.

Michael Rasmussen of the Tri City Americans and Tom Mayenknecht joined the show with a preview of The Sport Market.

Surrey’s Michael Rasmussen, one of the biggest forwards in the draft at 6’6”, says he also plays big and takes advantage of that size. Rasmussen is 9th in Bob McKenzie’s final TSN draft rankings
