Gary Lawless wouldn’t be surprised if the Golden Knights are discussing moving higher up in the draft, and suggests Marc-Andre Fleury is the right choice in goal for the Vegas team, given how important strong goaltending is in the NHL. Gary suggests Vegas could trade as many as four defensemen to other teams once the expansion draft is done

Grant McCagg from www.recrutes.ca says more than one scout has compared Miro Heiskanen to Scott Niedermayer, and suggests New Jersey may have interest in him even if it means dropping down in the draft. Grant says no one rose in this draft as much as Cody Glass did, and suggests he’s the guy for the Canucks.

Ducks defenseman Kevin Bieksa says Vegas expansion is exciting for the league, and says analytics can be used when evaluating players but can also be very easily manipulated

Darren Dreger suggests there are at least six deals waiting to be announced by Vegas tomorrow, perhaps more. Darren suggests there’s a very good chance some interesting, if not significant, transactions happen this weekend
