After all we're all iron rods in the fire.

YolanDa Brown, recently appointed Chair of the biggest music education charity in the UK – Youth Music, took time from her busy schedule to talk to Clandestino Radio about her experience being a world-touring artist. YolanDa recommends keeping a positive mind, with a song for these troubled times. Interview recorded at the Port Fairy - Folk Festival 2020.

On June 6, 2020, approximately ninety thousand people gathered in the streets of Melbourne to demand justice for all Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander deaths in police custody, and to show their sympathy with the Black Lives Matter movement. Minutes before the official start of the rally, organized by the community organization Warriors of the Aboriginal Resistance - WAR these were the sounds outside the Victorian parliament, including voices of individuals who volunteered to share their opinions.

"We're tired, that's why we're here. We're tired of the police killing us. We're tired of the same people killing our children", words by Cooper, who attended the protest in Melbourne despite the public recommendations not to by the Victorian Premiere and the Australian Prime Minister.

Māori producer/singer songwriter Mihirangi shares about her role promoting the rights of Mother Earth as well as the start of her solo music project. She also talks about the nature of art and the importance for humanity to reconnect with nature. Interview recorded at the Port Fairy Folk Festival, 2020. 

San Francisco-based guitarist Deforrest Craig Wiggins shares his beginnings in music as well as his views on the world. At the time of  this interview, Deforrest was constantly busy playing at open mics in  San Francisco or touring other countries with his band “We are the kind”  until his sudden departure in January 2020.
