Alexandra Tarzikhan is the Schuette Clinical Fellow in Health and Human Rights working at the Centre for International Human Rights at Northwestern Pritzker School of Law. Currently, she is supporting health and human rights projects in Somalia, Botswana, Lebanon, Ghana, the Dominican Republic, Bangladesh, and Gaza through the Northwestern Access to Health Project. Previous to her work at the Centre, she worked in refugee camps in Lebanon, Jordan, and Greece. In 2018 , Alex delivered a Tedx talk at Tufts to raise awareness and humanise the refugee crisis. She runs a social media page called Meet a Refugee where she shares refugee stories and ideas on ways for people to help. Alex grew up in Syria and speaks 4 languages: Arabic, French, English, and Spanish. She has a dual degree in Law and a Master's in Public Health from Northeastern University School of Law and Tufts University School of Medicine.Her interests lie in the fields of Human Rights, Global Health, and Migration
