  • Gratitude saved my life, LITERALLY

I've had many lows in my life due to the circumstances I found myself in growing up and the effects that followed from internalizing ideas that kept me low. Once I decided I would take more risks in my life and actually followed through on those things, I became more familiar with the ways that the universe rewards me with kindness and opportunity. It's difficult to stay low very long when being shown the many things, big and small, to be grateful for.

  • Beliefs of self
It's been hard to maintain consistency with this podcast. Of course that makes sense considering the content I'm attempting to create. It's personal for someone who's not used to expressing their thoughts, feelings, and contemplations with others. I've realized, from a different perspective, that my fears and doubts were coming from an outdated set of beliefs in regards to my connections with others.

  • Forgiveness

An honest rambling about learning to forgive, let go, and move on with life.

Letting go is not something that comes easily for me and I'm still working on taking myself less seriously and enjoying life without dwelling on insignificant things.

It's a work in process that I have to take a day a time.

All I know is that the only truly safe space can only be created by me. Only I can be there for myself in the entirety of life, if I actually choose to.

Also, apologies for the speaker noises in the beginning. I was holding the mic in my hand so I was probably to close!

    I love you!

  • Vulnerability

    Happy Friday the 13th!

The topic of Vulnerability is prominent in everyone's lives since it relates to authenticity and is a progression of how one's internal world is reflected in the external one.

Join me in the discussion of vulnerability and how I explored the lack of it in my own life, becoming a catalyst of sorts that led me to a seemingly endless abyss of self discovery and healing.

Vulnerability doesn't always FEEL incredible or liberating, especially to someone who's used to trying to fit different molds or has been a shell of themselves to cope (aka me lol).

Nonetheless, venting and addressing dark and "unlovable" parts ourselves is a way of creating space for us to be human as well as have compassion for those around us who do the same.

  • What I will say to YOU ( & chitchat about emotions, sexual assault, and personal transformation)

*TW: sexual assault is mentioned in this episode, not in depth, but wanted to warn for ones sensitive to that. I might've also said suicide in the auditory warning but it never came up in the duration of this episode!

Listen to my open letter expressing my anger and disappointment to certain individuals in my life currently. Themes of the importance of boundaries, accountability, proper discourse in regards to sexual assault survivors, emotions (and the expression of them), and healing the inner child.

  • The beginning of eternity

I invite you to join me as I open up about my feelings and struggles as a 20 something year old. Let's create a space of vulnerability, support, and discourse about various topics that affect my life and possibly yours?

This podcast in itself is intended as a form of self care or alternative to "bottling up my emotions". I promise it won't all be a "Me, Me,Me" soundtrack, I'm simply trying to work on myself and I've reached a point where I'd like an opinion outside of myself to challenge me and grow. My hope is that it does the same for you, the listener. It feels weird not being the listener but thank you for taking the time.

Welcome to Clarity over Comfort, the podcast!

PS. The pod-caster/YouTube individual I mention in this episode is Amber Khan from The Quietest Revolution on YouTube and Instagram and Revolution Rambles on Spotify! I personally find her refreshing and inspiring and I like to thank her making the amazing content on her platforms. She's definitely one of many people that inspire me daily.
