It was a dark rainy day in Chicago, but the conversation was as hot as summer. I had the privilege to sit and chat with Keith Westman (@KeithWestman ) from Otus and meet his team at the Otus Offices in Chicago. It was great conversation about innovation, technology, why talking to a student is better than anything else and how Adam Levine could have been a teacher.

@sallyhoyt is one of those teachers you follow on Twitter because she looks amazing and hear from others that you would die to have your kid in her class. Well, I was lucky enough to win that lottery. Sally and I talk about what she believes is most important in the EDU-world, Safari Live and Global ReadAloud.

Sometimes it can be hard to reach a goal that seems so far down the road, but when we look at what is possible right next door, it can be a much more doable task.

Eric and I talk for quite a while and I realized he is really really smart. He is the Director of Strategic Initiatives for Otus and the creator of the podcast Modern Measures. Eric is also an amazing follow on Twitter at @NoApp4Pedagogy .

It is never a dull conversation when you chat with John Eick (@John_Eick), especially when it is in your bedroom.

It is like the scene from UHF when the janitor drinks from the firehose, hold on and try to take in what you can.
