Michael Jackson was unbelievably talented. Witness this, the greatest of all Jackson 5 singles, as well as their first, and the first of four consecutive #1 hits over the course of the next 10 months. All of this success falling squarely on the back of little 11-year-old Michael. What a talent! Of course, whoever is doing honors on the piano and guitar ain't half bad either... I mean, the opening few bars of this record, once heard, are not soon forgotten. How could anyone not love this song? I'm always thrilled to get a nice copy of this amazing single back into the store. Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Motown Records factory sleeve. It has Near Mint labels and very nearly Mint-looking vinyl. The audio sounds pristine! (This scan is a representative image from our archives.)

It's true that Nelson was backed by one of the hottest rockabilly bands around. This track is clear evidence of this! That guitar is Smokin! This is a beautiful copy on the black Imperial label, in a Near Mint picture sleeve. Note: This 45 has Near Mint labels with some color fading on the A side; the vinyl and audio are pristine Mint!

This Presley single features a terrific soul-style rocker on the B side, which turns out to have been written by Eddie Rabbitt, who also wrote Presley's hit "Kentucky Rain." Note: This beautiful 45 comes in a Near Mint picture sleeve. It has a Mint label, but the B label has a tiny date inked on it. The vinyl and audio grade very close to Mint.

Sure, I like the A side of this single, but I wouldn't rate it 2 stars. However, as the B side snippet in our jukebox demonstrates, this single just keeps on going when you flip it over... in fact, this is where the group decides they've "gotta find the groove"... and proceed to do just that! That's where our 2-star recommendation comes from. By the way, this was a non-album single. Note: This beautiful copy has a drillhole and comes in a vintage Bell Records factory sleeve. Aside from the drillhole, this 45 has no notable flaws, with Mint audio!

This is the terrific original version of the song the Black Crowes took to the top 40 in 1991. Incidentally, back in 1968, "Amen" was originally the plug side, which is probably why "Hard To Handle" didn't get much airplay back then (though it did turn out to be the "A" side in terms of sales and chart action). Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Atco Records factory sleeve. It has very nearly Mint labels. The vinyl (styrene) looks untouched, and the audio is pristine Mint!

Here's a beautiful copy of my favorite Turtles song! Well, actually 'You Baby' is my favorite. I think. Well, they're real close, that's for sure! I took the opportunity of this copy's pristine Mint audio to make an mp3 "snippet", so you decide! :-) Collector Nerd Alert: I'm using the recorded song to determine the A side track time rather than the 2:17 (the album track length) that shows on the label. Note: This copy comes in a vintage White Whale Records factory sleeve. It has Near Mint labels, and although the vinyl (styrene) has some light scuffing, its magical grooves deliver pristine Mint sound.

This was the group's first chart single, and what a great debut it was! No, they weren't a new Beatles, but this was first-rate pop for sure. Be sure to check out the wonderful Goffin-King tune on the B side, with its delightful little psychedelic interludes. This single's picture sleeve came in several variations... some in full color like this one, some in 2 colors, some with the white banner at the bottom, some not, etc. Note: This copy's picture sleeve, which has the white bottom banner, has a touch of top-edge wear but is bright and shiny with almost no ringwear. The 45 itself has Mint labels and Near Mint vinyl and audio.

This is one of the records, along with some of the early Beatles and many others, that demonstrated one way that rockabilly transitioned into a musical form that became known as Power Pop. Absolutely essential single — note that both Rolling Stone (#177) and Dave Marsh (#102) put it high on their respective lists of the greatest singles ever made. Great B side, too! Note: This beautiful copy has labels and vinyl that grade very close to Mint, and the audio sounds pristine.
