It's that time of year when we look back at the year that was, and highlight some of our classic catches - our absolute favourite podcast moments of 2023.

It's been another massive year for Bluey, with the show going from strength to strength internationally, the second album 'Dance Mode' being released, the announcement of 'The Sign', a 28 minute special coming in 2024, Blueyfest counting down the top 100 episodes and a teaser of 'Bluey's World' coming to Brisbane in August.

Our favourite bits of 2023 included:

• Bluey composer Jazz D'Arcy talking about the 'Dance Mode' album and her song 'Rain (Boldly in the Pretend).
• Sound designer/Uncle Stripe Dan Brumm discussing how he did the sound design for the rugby league inspired episode 'The Decider'.
• Hamilton creator and voice of Major Tom, Lin-Manuel Miranda visiting Brisbane and in conversation with fellow Bluey cast member Leigh Sales.
• Julia Quinn, author of the Netflix romance series 'Bridgerton', also visiting Brisbane and talking to us about how she discovered and fell in love with Bluey.
• Marianne Taylor AKA The House Detective chatting about the little details of the Heeler house and Queenslander houses.
• Bluey editor David Peterson on what he thought when an episode called 'Dad Baby' came across his desk.
• Blueyfest
