Robin Trower is an extremely underrated guitarist! His 1974 album 'Bridge of Sighs' should be considered one of the classic guitar albums of all time! And while dedicated music enthusiasts are aware of Mr. Trower's work, he really should be a household name. In this episode Jeremy and John break down this awesome, if under-appreciated, album and get into the weeds on a number of related topics.

I know, I know... it's blasphemous! But in this episode of the Classic Guitar Rock Podcast Jeremy and John talk about their favorite non-guitar bands they occasionally listen to (when nobody is watching!) Unlike last episode, they don't agree on any of the same bands.

Ratt was one of the key players in the LA hair metal scene of the 80s. But unlike many of the bands of that era they brought a high level of musicianship. They spent a short time at or near the top of the heap, but a number of things conspired against them leading to the demise of the original lineup by the late 80s. In this episode Jeremy and J.R. discuss the sites, sounds and smells of this hard working rock band!

Beatles fans have enjoyed, endured and even created several conspiracy theories about the Fab Four over the years. On this episode we will discuss one conspiracy that popped up several years after their breakup and disappeared just as quickly. Jeremy will also share five of his "guilty pleasure" artists - the ones he could never admit to liking in the company of his headbanging friends.... this is gonna be just like an Oprah episode!

The Cult came out of the UK's post-punk, alternative/goth scene in the early 80s. But by the mid 80s they were pumping out a unique sound that straddled the genres of alternative and hard rock - yielding them substantial success in the process. In this episode of the CGR podcast Jeremy is joined by his friend J.R. as they delve into the Cult's awesome 1989 album, "Sonic Temple".

Ozzy's debut album "Blizzard of Ozz" is considered one of the best Heavy Metal albums of all time - but it was an important album not just because of the music. It came at a crucial time for Ozzy Osbourne who had just been fired from Black Sabbath and was still trying to find his way as a solo artist. In this episode of the CGR podcast we are joined by our Black Sabbath subject matter experts, John and Darin, from "Into the Void - A Black Sabbath Podcast". We talk about the album, the formation of the band "Blizzard of Ozz" and the early days of Ozzy's solo career.
