Followed  by The Lives of Harry Lime starring Orson Welles, originally broadcast March 28, 1952, 72 years ago, Pleasure Before Business.    Harry's beautiful partner for a Venice jewel robbery has a few ideas of her own; like love. 

Then Jack Benny, originally broadcast March 28, 1954, 70 years ago, Jack and the Beanstalk.  The cast does its version of, "Jack and the Beanstalk." 

Followed by Gangbusters, originally broadcast March 28, 1941, 83 years ago, Nickle and Dime Bandits.  Two small-timers (Rogers and Charleson), and their moll, terrorize Chattanooga and think they can get away with it because they only rob small amounts. 

Finally The Adventures of Jungle Jim, originally broadcast March 28, 1936, 88 years ago, The Bat Woman.   A mysterious Chinaman leaves a letter of great importance at Jim's favorite jungle saloon.

Then Theatre Royal, originally broadcast March 27, 1954, 70 years ago, A Tale of Two Cities starring Sir Laurence Olivier.  The drama is based on a leading character in "A Tale Of Two Cities."

Finally Lum and Abner, originally broadcast March 27, 1942, 82 years ago, Detective Mousy Gray.  Mousey reports that "Operator XW9 is ready" to Fremont by way of Squire Skimp. However, Operator XW9 doesn't know much!

Followed  by the news of the day, then Our Miss Brooks starring Eve Arden, originally broadcast March 26, 1950, 74 years ago, Baseball Uniforms.  The Madison High Athletic Fund is so depleted that there's no money for the school baseball team.

Then Fibber McGee and Molly, originally broadcast March 26, 1946, 78 years ago, Bullets Branigan is on the loose!  Bullets Brannigan has escaped and is on the loose in Wistful Vista! Jim Jordan pays a brief tribute to the recently deceased Marlin Hurt, who played the role of "Beulah" on the program. 

Followed by The Great Gildersleeve starring Harold Peary, originally broadcast March 26, 1944, 80 years ago, Campaign Photo.  Gildersleeve decides to have photos taken for his campaign for mayor. 

Finally Lum and Abner, originally broadcast March 26, 1942, 82 years ago, Harboring a fugitive?  . Lum and Cedric have disappeared. Abner is arrested for harboring a fugitive!

Florence Desmond impersonates Katharine Hepburn (while she's singing!), Marlene Dietrich and the fictitious Gladys Potts (the first woman pilot to fly over the North Pole with her baby). Rudy interviews Tony Sarg, a puppeteer who is credited with inventing the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade giant balloons. 

Followed by The Lux Radio Theater, originally broadcast March 25, 1940,  84 years ago, Remember the Night starring Fred MacMurray and Barbara Stanwyck.  An adaptation of the 1939 picture in which MacMurray and Stanwyck reprise their starring roles. A romance story about a prosecutor who winds up taking a beautiful thief with him on a Christmas visit to his mother. 

Finally Claudia, originally broadcast March 25, 1949, 75 years ago, Walk in the rain. The last program of the series. A walk in the rain to the top of the hill. The program ends with a kiss. Kathryn Bard and Paul Crabtree star.

Followed by Big Town starring Edward Pawley, originally broadcast March 22, 1949, 75 years ago, The Deadly Summons.   Elizabeth Blake has been killed in an accidental fall down a flight of stairs. Mrs. Blake was a famous actress. Her son is quoted as saying, "murder will out." The boy's stepfather, confined to a wheelchair, is a possible suspect.

Then Dr Christian starring Jean Hersholdt, originally broadcast March 21, 1939, 85 years ago, Mr Meeks.   Elenore Meeks thinks her husband Greg Meeks (played by Gale Gordon) should be more involved with the upwardly mobile people of the community.  But Greg has more earthly and homespun pursuits in mind.  

Followed by The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes starring John Stanley and Alfred Shirley, originally broadcast March 21, 1948, 76 years ago, Death is a Golden Arrow.   An affair of honor with bows and arrows leads to murder.

Finally The Adventures of Jungle Jim, originally broadcast March 21, 1936, 88 years ago, The Batwoman. Jim operates on Shanghai Lil ("The Bat Woman") and saves her life. Jim frees the Reverend Chalmers, Jacques LaBarr jumps off a cliff and kills himself.

Then Frontier Town starring Reed Hadley, originally broadcast March 20, 1953, 71 years ago, The Case Of The Packing House Combine.  Duece Ziderman offers Chad only 8 cents a pound for Chad's cattle. Chad Remington remains loyal to Lizzie McComb's cattle buying service.
