The Colin McIntyre Classic Thriller Season has been a regular feature at Nottingham's Theatre Royal since 1989. An ensemble performs four plays over the space of four weeks, a short rehearsal period proving quite a challenge. In 2019, the season features plays by Frederic Knott, Francis Durbridge, Brian Clemens and Dennis Spooner and N J Crisp.

The Classic Thriller Season 2019 runs at the Theatre Royal from 30 July until 24 August.
