A button-down shirt has been my absolute go-to while nursing, but it’s also just a beautifully classic addition to anyone’s wardrobe! TJ Maxx and Marshalls always have great options, so if you are stumped and can’t figure out what to wear - a white button-down shirt is the perfect solution.

Things I’ve Been Loving: Real Techniques Makeup Brushes

I absolutely love all of these makeup brushes and sponges from Real Techniques. If you are looking for pretty, practical, and inexpensive makeup brushes - I highly recommend these!

If you don’t already own a few knotted headbands, I highly recommend purchasing a few for spring! They are so pretty and feminine, and they allow you to fake having voluminous hair because they add a little height to the crown of your head.

Things I’ve Been Loving: Claw Clips

I love throwing my hair up with a clip before going to sleep, washing my face, or basically any time I want to keep my hair out of my face! I haven’t tried these ones specifically, but I wanted to recommend a larger size so that if you have a lot of hair these clips will actually hold it all in place.

  • LISTEN: Stop Treating Your Life Like A LADDER.

Episode #17: Stop Treating Your Life Like A LADDER.

Here on my podcast, I give you the BEST advice regarding dating, relationships, motherhood, traditional values, and classic living. As a premium subscriber, you will get access to 3 exclusive podcast episodes every month.

Today, we’re going to talk about why treating your life like a ladder will prevent you from making decisions that will ultimately bring you more happiness. It’s really difficult not to feel like everything you do needs to build and build toward one giant ultimate goal, but in truth, that’s not really the way life works. Additionally, don’t forget about my weekly catch-up and make sure to stay tuned till the end for my classic tip of the week! If you want to listen to the whole episode, make sure to subscribe now.

    Classic Style Inspo

Spring is such an interesting time because the weather can change on the turn of a dime! (I didn’t mean to rhyme, but I like it!) Finding transitional pieces can be a struggle. That’s why I really enjoy sleeveless sweater dresses for weather like this. They keep me warm without making me too hot, and by simply removing one layer of clothing, I can enjoy the heat on my shoulders.

Things I’ve Been Loving: Folex Stain Remover

This instant spot remover is great not only for carpeting, but for clothes as well! If you spill something on your carpet, you don’t have to worry - just grab the Folex bottle and spray the stain away. If you get something on a piece of clothing - spray some Folex on it and voila - it’s clean!

One of the nicest feelings is putting on a beautiful dress and feeling your best in it. And beautiful dresses don’t have to be expensive! This one is from Target and it makes me feel like such a lady. If you aren’t totally into wearing dresses, maybe ask yourself why. Then find one that speaks to YOU!

Things I’ve Been Loving: Ovulation and Pregnancy Tests

Okay, so this isn’t so relevant to me right now (as you might imagine) but when Jacob and I were trying to conceive, these strips were a lifesaver! They’re affordable, easy to use, and plentiful so you don’t have to worry that you’re using too many. If you are trying to conceive - I highly recommend these!

Episode #16: Being A Classic Woman Means Upholding Good Standards

Here on my podcast, I give you the BEST advice regarding dating, relationships, motherhood, traditional values, and classic living. As a premium subscriber, you will get access to 3 exclusive podcast episodes every month.

Today, I want to talk about why being a classic woman means upholding good standards. I have gotten comments in the past about the fact that I must hate other women just because I believe we should have good standards for our behavior. I’m going to explain what the Left is trying to do when they say those things and why it’s simply not true. Additionally, don’t forget about my weekly catch-up and make sure to stay tuned till the end for my classic tip of the week! If you want to listen to the whole episode, make sure to subscribe now.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: This Month's Book Club Selection!

I’m excited to share this month’s book club selection! This month we are reading fiction (we switch up month-to-month), and I can’t wait. The book we will be reading is…Catch-22! I’ve never read it, so I’m looking forward to diving in.

What You Might Have Missed At Classically Abby…

    Quote of the Week:

“Gratitude is riches. Complaint is poverty.” – Doris Day

    Classic Style Inspo

A long tunic-like dress is the perfect thing to throw over a pair of leggings in the winter! I don’t like wearing leggings without covering my bottom, but a dress like this which is just a bit too short for me regularly is perfect when I wear leggings underneath it.

    Things I’ve Been Loving: Sodastream

I was trying to think of something I use every day to recommend to you all, and then the Sodastream popped into my head! We use this every single day to make seltzer and I love it. I used to hate having half-empty soda cans throughout the house, and this is the perfect solution. I absolutely love ours, so I highly recommend!

Today, I want to talk about what to do when you’re struggling with your faith. Most of us have times where we struggle with our beliefs, but it sometimes can feel wrong to talk about it. If you don’t already own a nude undershirt, you should definitely buy one! They allow you to wear a V-neck without drawing attention to the measures you’ve taken to be modest. Here, I’m wearing a fancy gown and put a nude shirt underneath it - and I don’t think it detracts at all!

Things I’ve Been Loving: Nivea Creme

My lovely friend Mrs. Midwest recently recommended Nivea creme on her Instagram stories. It immediately sent me back to my childhood, when my mother would use it on her hands before bed. Well, my hands have been suffering from horrible dryness this winter, so I thought I would give it a try. Oh my goodness! Nivea creme made such a difference!
