En esta oportunidad quiero compartir con ustedes 4 pasos para lograr el MUSCLE UP OLIMPICO, un elemento gimnastico que realizamos en la calistenia, el cual para nosotros es denominado un elemento DINÁMICO. Este es uno de lso primeros que todo atleta logra realizar y uno de los mas importantes, ya que nos ayudara a conectar otros trucos en un combo de competencia, o simplemente puede ayudarnos en un inicio a subirnos a una barra alta. On this occasion I want to share with you 4 steps to achieve the OLYMPIC MUSCLE UP, a gymnastic element that we perform in calisthenics, which for us is called a DYNAMIC element. This is one of the first ones that every athlete manages to perform and one of the most important, since it will help us to connect other tricks in a competition combo, or it can simply help us to get on a high bar at the beginning. PASOS | STEPS
1. HIPEREXTENCIÓN DE HOMBROS. Aqui lo que haremos sera dejar que el valanceo que agarremos en el inicio del movimieto nos lleve hacia adelante dejando que nuestro pecho salga, para hacer esto debemos rotar los hombros hacia atras. Tengan cuidado de no exagerar este gesto, ya que les podra causar molestias si no tienen buena movilidad.
*1. HYPEREXTENSION OF THE SHOULDERS. Here what we will do is let the swing that we grab at the beginning of the movement take us forward, letting our chest come out, to do this we must rotate our shoulders backwards. Be careful not to overdo this gesture, as it may cause discomfort if you do not have good mobility. *
2. ELEVACIÓN DE PIERNAS. Estando en la parte delantera del movimiento, y teniendo la hiperextension ya concientizada, vamos a llevar nuestras piernas lo mas rapido que podamos a tocar la barra. De esta manera generaremos una palanca la cual nos ayudará a subir.
2. ELEVATION OF LEGS. Being in the front part of the movement, and having the hyperextension already aware, we are going to bring our legs as fast as we can to touch the bar. In this way we will generate a lever which will help us go up.
3. PATADA HACIA ABAJO. Habiendo realizado los dos pasos anteriores, y teniendo las piernas arriba, vamos a patear hacia abajo lo mas fuerte que podamos. Pueden hacerlo con las rodillas extendidas o levemente flexionadas como se ve en video, eso dependera de su comodidad. Pero el objetivo es hacerlo totalmente extendido, asi se verá mucho mas estético.
3. KICK DOWN. Having done the previous two steps, and having our legs up, we're going to kick down as hard as we can. They can do it with their knees extended or slightly bent as seen in the video, that will depend on their comfort. But the goal is to make it fully extended, so it will look much more aesthetic.
4. INTENTOS DE MUSCLE UP OLIMPICO. Este ya es el elemento como tal. Habiendo practicado y concientizado los pasos anteriores, estas listo para intentar el "MUSCLE UP OLIMPICO".
4. OLYMPIC MUSCLE UP ATTEMPTS. This is already the element as such. Having practiced and become aware of the above steps, you are ready to attempt the "OLYMPIC MUSCLE UP".
