With five games to go in this disappointing season, it's not too early to anticipate some of the biggest storylines that will likely dominate the final two weeks of the season and beyond.

These include (but are not limited to): Rick Tocchet's future, Thatcher Demko's next contract, whether or not Brock Boeser and Pius Suter will resign with the team, and what other players the Canucks might target in free agency.

The Canucks played well for half the game but it certainly wasn't enough to beat the Vegas Golden Knights. Aatu Raty, Elias Pettersson, and Kevin Lankinen had strong games for the Canucks.

Brock Boeser scored two goals (including the game-tying goal with 3 seconds left in regulation) in the Vancouver Canucks 4-3 overtime loss to the St. Louis Blues.
