The Canucks struggled mightily against a Flames squad that had more than half of their regulars in the line up. The skill and experience discrepancy was obvious as the Flames handily defeated the Canucks 10-0.

Akito Hirose, Jack Studnicka, Aatu Raty, and Nils Hoglander were the best players for the Canucks. Conversely, Jett Woo, Noah Juulsen, Vasily Podkolzin, and Arturs Silovs had rough outings.
