The Canucks dominated the visiting Edmonton Oilers in the season-opener for both teams. Brock Boeser led the way with 4 goals, while both Elias Pettersson and JT Miller chipped in with 4 points apiece.

For many other players, that was probably their last preseason action as the team will likely make cuts before their next game this Saturday at home vs. the Oilers.
