The Canucks announced their opening day roster, complete with 22 players (13 forwards, 7 defencemen, and 2 goalies). Ilya Mikheyev will start on IR and Tucker Poolman will start on LTIR.

For many other players, that was probably their last preseason action as the team will likely make cuts before their next game this Saturday at home vs. the Oilers.

Now that we've all had a chance to sleep on the Canucks' disastrous 10-0 loss to the Flames last night, I ask the community if they feel any better...or worse...about the team.

We talk about the players who played well and those who didn't...and what it might mean for them going forward.

The Canucks struggled mightily against a Flames squad that had more than half of their regulars in the line up. The skill and experience discrepancy was obvious as the Flames handily defeated the Canucks 10-0.

Akito Hirose, Jack Studnicka, Aatu Raty, and Nils Hoglander were the best players for the Canucks. Conversely, Jett Woo, Noah Juulsen, Vasily Podkolzin, and Arturs Silovs had rough outings.

But it's only one game, right?
