24 hours after beating the Ottawa Senators, the Canucks lost 5-2 to the Montreal Canadiens.  Thatcher Demko struggled, JT Miller struggled, Jack Rathbone struggled, and Tanner Pearson struggled before getting hurt.

Bo Horvat, Conor Garland, and Elias Pettersson had 2 points each and Spencer Martin made 37 saves as the Canucks defeated the Senators 6-4 on the opening game of their 5 game road trip.

Elias Pettersson had 5 points and Andrei Kuzmenko had his first career hat trick as the Canucks defeated the Ducks 8-5 at Rogers Arena.  The day was highlighted by the retirement of Kevin Bieksa as a Canuck.

The Canucks' special teams let them down in a 5-2 loss to the New Jersey Devils as Jack continues his dominance over Quinn in the battle of the Hughes brothers.  Bo Horvat scored two goals in a losing effort.
