And Travis Dermott got injured during the practice itself.

The Canucks dropped 3-2 and 4-0 decisions to the Calgary Flames in a pair of split-squad games.  

Pettersson, Garland, Podkolzin, and Kuzmenko all had good games in Vancouver, but there is concern about Ilya Mikheyev's injury.

The Canucks opened their three-day training camp in Whistler with some interesting combos at both forward and defence.

Today I had the pleasure of volunteering for the annual Jake Milford Canucks Charity Invitational golf tournament. I got to interact with Canucks players, coaches, alumni, and media members.  I had great chats with guys like Brue Boudreau, Conor Garland, and Travis Dermott.  And I learned that Spencer Martin watches my vlogs!

After a quick weekend away, I recap the Canucks 4-1 win over Winnipeg at the Young Stars Classic, who the Canucks should play on the right side of the blueline, and I look ahead to volunteering at the Jake Milford Canucks Charity Golf tournament.
