His organization’s mission is to mobilize, educate, and advocate to eliminate the stigma and discrimination toward those affected by alcohol and drug addictions. Pro-A is extremely important to our recovery community and Bill's unique perspective is a powerful force in accomplishing those goals.

As with all convictions, after you have completed whatever the courts have convicted you of, your records are still "out there" for the public to see, and so we are discriminated against for housing, employment, and credit, etc. Former Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams joins us to discuss some of the challenges he has had following his issues with the law. We have paid our debt to society, but the stigma and the consequences for past behavior does not go away. This needs to change!

Not long after the Phillies won the 1980 World Series, the team was enmeshed in a scandal involving amphetamines. Randy’s life began to fall apart. In 2016, Randy was diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver, caused by drug and alcohol abuse. Today, Randy is clean and sober and is giving back to the community. What a story he will tell.

Otherwise Known as "Bundy," Therien played with well-known Flyers players like Eric Lindros and John LeClair, reaching the Stanley Cup Finals in 1996-97. From a stellar athletic career, Chris was also battling, on the ice and off the ice, an alcohol addiction. Now in recovery for over 10 years, Chris is giving back. He is part owner of the Limitless Recovery Center in the Fishtown section of Philadelphia.

Judge Mattox presides over a court in Upper Darby PA, a city outside of Philadelphia which is a high traffic area for addiction and criminal activities. Judge Mattox is both a friend of our recovery community and a passionate judge, who understands addiction. This Judge is sympathetic towards those struggling with the disease of addiction.
